     Mighty Tow can be made up of all nylon, or nylon and spectra combinations, which save storage space and weight.

• Two legs of New England Rope's Nylon Double Braid or 12-strand Nylon Mega Braid for shock absorption and
• Puget Sound Rope's Plasma 12-strand for the tow hawser.

     New England Rope's Double Braid and Mega Braid lines use the highest-grade marine nylon, combining easy handling, flexibility and strength, good looks and long wear. The nylon is treated with a unique water repellent coating for greater wet strength and improved abrasion resistance, even when wet.

     Plasma 12-strand is the highest strength synthetic rope available. Plasma is manufactured from Honeywell Spectra Fiber that has been enhanced by Puget Sound Rope's patented recrystalization process. Strengths are over 50% higher and creep is significantly less than that of standard Spectra 12- strand.

     We use forged stainless rings and heavy-duty stainless thimbles reinforced with welding.

     Mighty Tow includes a nylon-covered Plasma pennant for the bow of your tender to make hawser attachment safe and easy.

     Mighty Tow uses Wichard and Tylaska hardware; two of the most respected marine stainless rigging manufacturers in the market.

     Rope, Inc will provide manufacturer certification for hardware as well as our own certification for proper splicing techniques of the Mighty Tow towline package for the vessel's insurance company.
